Miss Universe 2009 Winner Venezuela’s Stefania Fernandez

The Miss Universe Pageant was so cheesy this year, it was almost entertaining to watch. With the likes of Billy Bush and his creepy quips (i.e. “let’s welcome the lovely ladies with all their appropriate parts covered”) as well as a shockingly bad Heidi Montag doing some sort of lip synching dance number – channeling her best Britney Spears VMA performance – Miss Venezuela Stefania Fernandez was finally crowned Miss Universe 2009.

The 18-year-old beat out four finalists from Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Kosovo, and Australia. This is the second consecutive year Venezuela has taken the win. Upon her win, Fernandez received the crown from last year’s winner, Venezuela’s Dayana Mendoza. Congrats Stefania!

So Heidi Montag bombed. Does she still get to be a celebrity? Oh, she does? Sigh.

p.s. Did you think Kelly Rowland was slightly off key? And slightly on crack?

Alicia Silverstone Gardens Naked

For those of you who have a thing for environmentally friendly hotties, then you are in luck – because Alicia Silverstone apparently gardens in her birthday suit. We know! Great news, right?

The vegan actress recently told US magazine, “[It] probably started when I was doing my garden the first time,” she said. “I’d be out there, and it would be scorching hot, so I would take off all of my clothes and garden. And then I would jump in the pool and swim – and I always get in the pool naked.”

Apparently, Silverstone has a special relationship with actor Woody Harrelson.

“I used to spend a lot of time with Woody Harrelson, and he’s not afraid to get naked,” she said.
