Chupacabra Found in Texas

A suspicious-looking creature has turned up in Texas.

A local Hood County rancher spotted a dog-like creature prowling his turf, and an animal control officer shot the beast photographed above. However, after looking at the creature, close inspection many are wondering if it was in fact a chupacabra that was shot.

The rancher said he heard growling coming from inside his barn. Upon inspection he saw what he describes as the ugliest creature he has ever seen. He then called an animal control officer and he killed the animal.

“I’m not sure on that part. All I know is, it wasn’t normal,” said Animal Control Office Frank Hackett. “It was ugly, real ugly. I’m not going to tell no lie on that one.”

Chupacabras are thought to suck on the blood of livestock.

Chupacabra Found in Barn

In Blanco, Texas, what is thought to be a dead Chupacabra (translation: “goat sucker”) has been found in the barn of a taxidermist. Jerry Ayers thought he might have a pest problem in his barn so he put out some poison. The next day, he found the carcass of a creature he had never seen before.

“It got into his cousin’s barn and they thought maybe it was a rodent tearing stuff up, and they no idea since they’ve never seen it,” Ayers said. “He got out some poison and this is what they got the next day.”

The Chupacabra is thought to be a mystery creature that is believed to drink blood from livestock. Goats and other livestock are found dead with puncture wounds around the chest and throat, and completely drained of blood.
