The stunning West Cork coast resort uses one of Ireland’s most innovative environmental heating systems in keeping with its strong environmental credentials. Using one of the largest solar arrays in Ireland in conjunction with wood pellet boilers, heat recovery systems and improving the efficiency of the existing heating infrastructure. This has an annual CO2 saving of 500 tonnes per annum and has the project received a number of awards.
