Over 1,000 emails and over 2,000 other documents were stolen last Thursday from the Climate Research Unit at East Anglia University in the U.K. The files were posted on a Russian file-sharing server, and university officials confirmed over the weekend that their computer had been attacked and said the documents appeared to be genuine.
In the aforementioned emails, which date back over a decade, researchers in the United States and in England repeatedly take issue with climate research at odds with their own findings. They sometimes discuss ways to rebut what they call “disinformation” using new articles in scientific journals or popular Web sites.
“The selective publication of some stolen emails and other papers taken out of context is mischievous and cannot be considered a genuine attempt to engage with this issue in a responsible way,” the university said.
Representatives of the American Association for the Advancement of Science expressed concern that the hacked emails would weaken global resolve to curb greenhouse-gas emissions. The association believes “that climate change is real, it is related to human activities, and the need to counteract its impacts is now urgent.”
Most climate scientists today argue that the earth’s temperature is rising, and nearly all of those agree that human activity is likely to be a prime or at least significant cause.

For years Mr. William M. Connolley (talk) and group of biased editors have cried for peer reviewed papers from skeptics to support claims that Global Warming is nothing more than a hoax. It is clear now after the CRU info has been released that the peer reviewed process was controlled as a self perpetuating barrier to such truth being revealed in skeptical papers.
Mr. Connolley, you will stand trial now for fraud and criminal negligence in maintaining such disinformation for manipulation of billions of dollars worldwide.
For every innocent child who has viewed your information on Wiki (which was manipulated on purpose for expressed intent) you should be sentenced to one (1) year in prison. It will be hard to serve out millions of years for those crimes…

Global warming is a serious issue. I’m afraid of global warming. Greenhouse gas emissions are very dangerous. We need to eat all the cows in one big BBQ to stop their evil farts.

This artical states the emails were stolen. Who owns the emails who paid for research? Why shouldnt they be public? Why wont they debate? Isnt the climate suppose to change? I remember global cooling scares in my 7th grade classroom where are these guys now? Dont drink the water buy bottled water, now dont buy bottled water to much for the landfills? We have only a speck of climate history to go on yet were spending the peoples money on a undebated issue that has many questionable people writing out there own paychecks. Looks like water waste is next on the agenda blame america first even though were the country the feeds so many others.
