Bostonians are set for a great green weekend at Earthfest Boston 2009. Radio 92.9’s green festival has built up some massive momentum over the 16 years it has run.
The festival runs today so if you’re in the area, get down to the Hatch Shell along the Charles River. You’ll get a taste of free organic food samples, information on sustainable living and plenty of music. Live shows start at noon with local favorites Red Summer Sun. From there you’ll get treated to the sweet sounds of Shawn Mullins, Seven Mary Three, Lemonheads and main attraction, Soul Asylum beginning at 4PM.
Earthfest Boston 2009 is the launch point for numerous other summer festivals and concerts in the Boston area.

What a farce. Cars parked on the grass…in fact cars parked everywhere! Where is the push for public transportation. Garbage everywhere. The only thing green about Earthfest is the money that the promoters and the city make.
