Pizza for breakfast was how it started for Jamie Oliver on his show Food Revolution.
“It’s that kind of food that’s killing America,” Oliver told the cooks of an elementary school in Huntington, West Virginia – the most obese city in the United States.
Oliver also visited a family in the town who were all overweight. He threw all of the food they consume in a week on the table so that the family could see what they were doing to themselves.
Back at the elementary school, Oliver met with a lot of resistance. With the kids rejecting his fresh food and wanting the processed foods they’re used to – and even eating chicken nuggets after watching Oliver grind up, then fry the nastiest parts of the bird – the British chef certainly had his work cut out for him.
