Prince Charles is pulling an Al Gore, releasing a book and documentary which explores the effect of big corporations on the environment. Naming the project “Harmony,” Prince Charles will donate his royalties to the cause. Published by HarperCollins, the Prince’s project will highlight how relentless human industry and consumption has dangerously effected the planet.
Prince Charles said, “I believe that true sustainability depends fundamentally upon us shifting our perception and widening our focus, so that we understand, again, that we have a sacred duty of stewardship of the natural order of things. In some of our actions we now behave as if we were masters of nature and, in others, as mere bystanders. If we could rediscover that sense of harmony – that sense of being a part of, rather than apart from nature, we would perhaps be less likely to see the world as some sort of gigantic production system, capable of ever-increasing outputs for our benefit – at no cost.”
To help him with the project, Charles will team up Tony Juniper, former director of green charity Friends of the Earth.

Just finished watching the film. I never imagined I would be on the same page as prince Charles. Kudos and congratulations. I went to the Greenpeace website first and pledged to the Great Bear Rainforest. Next stop, sustainable, organic, garden in my own yard.
